Oh man, if this is true this thing would be sweet! Of course, what you don't mention is that its probably running Windows Mobile... I really wish they'd release a new Palm OS Treo. But fat chance of that.
Interestingly, Brighthand says that Palm has placed an order for 5MM new smartphones for 2009. Rumor is that this might be part of the order.

Yeah, it's a Windows Mobile device. Here's a shot of it running IEMobile 7.11:
I rocked a Treo 650 for 18 months on Palm OS and really loved it, but I've also played with several Windows OS phones and the familiarity is pretty nice as well. I always have trouble getting past the sweetness of the app. store for the iPhone and love the ridiculous accessbility of the creative apps, but the Windows OS phones are pretty damn practical in a lot of respects.
