Nokia shows off 8800 Carbon Arte

Nokia showed off its latest phone in the Arte series. The design is very sleak, but the keyboard may be a bit too small for my liking. It should be available in the 3rd quarter of the year, at a price of 1100 Euros. More info

Specs are actually really nice. I hate the way it looks though. Nokia had that chrome one on T-Mo a few years back and it was hideous.

Holy bejeez....EUR 1,100??  That's $1,628!  Yikes.  Would any of you pay that much for a phone?  I mean, good lord....that's almost two months rent for me.

It's pricey, sure, but you're paying for the materials, which are designed to last, and you're also paying for the style or design. It's somewhat of a status symbol.

it is really very nice , cool phone , and this brand  has a high profile , so it will have a ready market !
