Japanese companies to start a larger international push

Apparently some of the Japanese manufacturers want to export their handsets more.  They seem to tout features like portable TV and electronic wallets, technologies that either don't have the infrastructure or adoption in other countries, so it'll be interesting to see if they are really able to innovate.

It's about damn time. A lot of Japanese phones have some really nice features that can currently work within the system here in the US, although some of the stuff (like the wallet) will definitely struggle. They'll have to be smart about which ones they decide to bring over.
