Samsung Instincts selling out

So far I guess Instincts are selling pretty well. Word is many Sprint stores have sold out their initial stock and it's the highest selling EVDO phone to date.

It's definitely the most feature packed phone Sprint has ever offered, so I'm not too surprised. I'd love to play with one for a bit because I've been happy with my past Samsung phones.

It's a great phone, especially for the price. I love the live search function and the GPS is amazing. My only few gripes were that because it's a data centric phone it is constantly looking for a EVDO signal, even if this means bouncing in and out of roaming every few seconds.

I work for Best Buy Mobile and I can verify that these phones have been constantly selling out in their first few weeks. I believe we sold about 75 in three weeks.

Compared to the iPhone, which sells 75 in about three minutes. :-)

I dunno... I've played with one of these (at a Sprint Store) and I'm actually not that impressed. I think it feels like a poor iPhone wannabe. Lots of little things annoyed me and looked like they needed more polish.

That said, I didn't really get to spend that much time with it, so maybe it would grow on me. And they are definitely selling out from what I've heard.
