The Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade has been officially launched for the Blackjack II. It will wipe all the data off your phone and has a pretty painful install process, but it's probably worth it:

It is certainly a worthwhile upgrade. You get the new "card wheel" interface on the main screen, and my reception seems to be a little better so perhaps some tweaking was done to the radio. The first two re-boots after the update take longer than normal, so expect that.
My only complaint about it is the amount of demo games and apps they throw on there. I haven't had much time to futz with it yet but my first attempts to delete the demos off failed.
All of my apps loaded back just fine. Yeah it takes a little while to re-constitute your phone, but it looks like a new phone! I definitely recommend the upgrade.
