Check for T-Mobile 3G coverage on their site

T-Mobile has updated their site to allow people to check for 3G coverage in their area (make sure to check the Data Coverage check box):

They plan on having 21 markets up and running by the end of October.  It looks like they'll be prepared for the launch of the HTC G1 with Android (kinda).

For kicks, I put my home address in.  Interestingly, it looks like each tower only offers 4-5 "bar" coverage within roughly a 5 block radius.  I had no idea cell coverage was so short range.

HMM, it appears that my apartment and Huddler HQ are both in pretty good spots. Maybe T-Mobile is a more viable option for me than I thought. Especially after some of the positive Android reviews I've been seeing
