Good IM apps?

The IM app that came with my phone is one of the lame ones that uses text messages instead of data.

Are there any decent, free windows mobile IM clients out there?

This Wikipedia link compares a whole bunch of IM clients, and Windows Mobile ones are in the mix.  Palringo is one in the list but there are others.

I just grabbed palringo, and it looks like exactly what I was looking for.  Thanks!

Glad to help!  Any reviews of that app and likes/dislikes you may have would be great for the community too!

I haven't been able to find a good free AIM app for blackberry.  I just installed then uninstalled EQO, it wasn't working correctly and requires quite a bit of overhead because it also has it's own text messaging system and VoIP calling.

Anyone know of a good AIM client for blackberry 8310?  I've spent quite a bit of time trying things and looking for clients.

I use AgileMessenger for J2ME.  The version I am running on my Curve is 0.9.8 beta.  It has worked fine, and it may be a way to use it free as other versions of Agile Messenger have a subscription charge.  Do some searching around on that version number and hopefully you can find it!  It seems to work pretty well.

If we're talking WinMo, then I really liked using IM+. However, Jivetalk on my BB is the best IM app I'

ve ever used.

I would have suggested JiveTalk/BeeJive but OP wanted a free solution... I think BeeJive is $20, at least for BB it is.  Appears to still be free for the iPhone, not sure about Win Mobile.
