Little bits of debris get caught in crevices of the case and when you remove the shield any gritty debris scratched the iphone. You can hear and feel the scratching it as you remove the case. I see no remedy for this and would not recommend this to anyone. In order to clean out the debris you have to remove the device. unless you lived in a clear plastic dust free bubble and wear a bunny suit this will scrtach your phone. Don't buy it.
