reviewed August 18, 2008 at 12:02 pm I bought this unit as a backup AT&T phone, even though I didn't need the prepaid line or minutes. I wanted a low-cost phone to carry along for bikerides so I wouldn't risk a more expensive phone to sweat, wrecks, etc.
The phone is a basic candybar phone. It sports a browser and is therefore MediaNet capable. Reception is good, as would be expected in a Motorola, even at this price point.
The screen is small, but works fine to work the interface of the phone.
This phone can be found on sale for $10 to $15 in a GoPhone bundle branded by AT&T. Whether you need the phone as a SIM-swappable backup to your AT&T phone or as a true prepaid phone, it is basic but works well.
