This phone is good for people on the go because it can be used with one hand without having to flip open a keyboard etc.  Battery life was very good for a PDA/Phone and it comes with all the standard windows mobile features.  I had major problems with keeping a bluetooth headset connected to it.  random disconnects were the norm so it was fun guessing how to answer the phone.  The giant sync connection wore out very quickly to the point that the only way to sync it was with infra-red and that is painfully slow.  Also, it cannot charge and sync at the same time without plugging the charger into the sync cable first and it wont charge on USB.  Also, the external antenna gets the phone caught in your pocket since it it huge.

In my opinion, a PDA phone should be a phone first, PDA second. This phone fails horribly at the first and barely passes at the second. I'm sure it stacks up to other PDA phones in the feature department, but when the phone constantly crashes and locks-up, it can't even complete the most basic task such as receving a phone call. Yes, I had the latest firmware updates and no, I didn't install a bunch of crazy 3rd party apps. Amongst other cons the keypad broke the first month, the battery life was abismal and the reception was horrible. Even the software CD that was shipped with the phone had "prototype" as part of the install file name.

I think part of my negative feelings come from the amount of money charged for the phone (I got it for $200 after rebate, but I know a bunch of early adopters that got suckered into $500). If this was a $50 or freebie phone thrown in with a plan, I'd be more willing to accept the shortcomings.

Long story short, this phone seemed to be rushed to market without proper testing or QA.
