How often do you swap out phones?

 Generally every year, but I'd like to get on a carrier using SIM cards so that I could have several phones at once.
What features should phones of the future have?

 I'm excited about all the location aware stuff that's coming available. I'm hoping yelp.com will take advantage and blow my mind.
