Show Us Your Goods Contest Details

So you want to know more about the "Show us your Goods" contest, huh?

Why are we doing this?

We are just launching our second Huddle and we need your help to make our vision a reality. With so many products constantly flooding into the mobile marketplace, not everyone can keep them all straight. Sometimes it would be just be helpful to say, "What did other people like me buy in this situation?" We'd like our users to be able to say:

I have Phone XYZ:

1. What headsets do people who have this phone use, and what do they think of them?
2. What accessories and games do people with this phone use?
3. I want to upgrade, what phone do people who HAD this phone, HAVE now?

We've provided the infrastructure for you to share what you have, what you had, what you want, what you love (and love to hate), as well as a lot of tools for you to connect with fellow enthusiasts. We hope you like what we've built, but feedback is always appreciated!

What you have to do (in a nutshell)

We’ll be keeping reports of all of the new reviews, new wiki articles, and new Huddlers between July 15th and September 1st.  So to be officially entered, you have three options.  Anyone (well…not quite anyone – see the official rules for details) who:

• Creates their Product Profile AND
• Writes at least two (2) reviews OR
• Writes one (1) original wiki article  

…will be automatically entered into the contest.  But to start off, the first thing you have to do is join the Huddle, if you haven’t already.  Remember, your entries will be judged on quality!

Brownie points

As we’ve mentioned before, there’s a minimum participation level to be entered into the contest.  But there are several ways to get brownie points:

• Write MORE reviews
• Write MORE wikis
• Get MORE friends to join (and get your friends to actually DO something like write reviews, etc.)
• Edit some wikis in addition to your originals
• Post in the forums
• Add some photos of you enjoying the products you own or have seen in the wild 

Prizes

Well...over here at the Huddler headquarters, we have been working hard to put together some sweet prizes for you.  You've gotten the general overview but here are the details on each item.  There are 3 tiers of prizes:

• Grand Prize (1): A Nintendo Wii Gaming Console, valued at $300
• 2nd Prizes (5): $50 Gift Certificates to the Apple Store
• 3rd Prizes (5): $25 Gift Certificates to Amazon.com
